Founder of K9 STES, working as a dog trainer and working with her own specialist sniffer dogs.

After working for years as a dog handler for detection and surveillance dogs in security, I changed course in 2017 by starting a company with my husband, Fred Guit. We have been running the K9 STES company together since 2017. We work together with our 7 self-trained workingdogs, who search for power outages and diesel leaks, among other things.

Within our company I mainly work operationally. For example, I work with Lady and Mambo, which I have trained myself as specialist  scentdogs. Both dogs search for power outages. In addition to working with  my scentdogs, I provide detection, tracking and behavioral training. I do this in our own training center in Milheeze.  Fun and collaboration are central to all my training courses. I think it is important that the dog-human combination forms a unit, so that they can have fun and learn something together. 

As an owner and dog trainer, I must of course have the right knowledge and experience. That is why I still follow several training courses and courses to be able to work in a responsible and safe manner.
